Our Admissions

Welcome to the Admissions section of Maria Allied Health College. We appreciate your interest in joining our esteemed institution, dedicated to excellence in allied health education. Below, you will find detailed information on how to apply, eligibility criteria, important dates, and the steps involved in securing your place in one of our transformative programs.
Eligibility Criteria

To ensure our students are fully prepared for the rigors of allied health sciences, we have set forth the following eligibility criteria:

Academic Background

  • Candidates must have completed 12 years of schooling, with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Botany and Zoology as subjects.

Educational Qualifications: The candidate should have passed:

  • Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (12 years course),
  • Senior School Certificate Examination (10+2)
  • Pre-degree Examination (10+2), or
  • An equivalent with 12 years of schooling from a recognized board or university with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and English. A minimum of 45% marks is required (PCBE), with a relaxation to 35% for SC/ST candidates.

Age Requirement

  • Candidates must have reached the age of 17 years at the time of admission or will reach the age of 17 on or before December 31 of the year of admission.

Medical Fitness

  • A medical fitness certificate from an authorized medical officer is required, confirming the candidate's physical fitness for the course.

Eligibility Certificate

  • Candidates who have passed any qualifying examination other than the one conducted by the Government of Tamil Nadu must obtain an Eligibility Certificate from the University.
How to Apply

Application Submission

  • Fill out the online application form available on our website, ensuring all required documents are included.

Document Submission

  • Attach the necessary documents, including marks statements and transfer certificates, in original and one set of photocopies.

Application Fee

  • Pay the non-refundable application fee as part of the submission process.

Eligibility Certificate

  • Apply for the Eligibility Certificate if you have qualified through examinations other than the Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary Examination. Admission Process: Follow any further instructions for the admission process, which may include interviews or additional screenings.

  • Starts from June 1 every year

Last Date for Eligibility Certificate Application

  • September 30 of every year (or the next working day if it falls on a holiday)
