Eligibility Criteria
To ensure our students are fully prepared for the rigors of allied health sciences, we have set forth the following eligibility criteria:
Academic Background
Candidates must have completed 12 years of schooling, with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Botany and Zoology as subjects.
Educational Qualifications: The candidate should have passed:
Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (12 years course),
Senior School Certificate Examination (10+2)
Pre-degree Examination (10+2), or
An equivalent with 12 years of schooling from a recognized board or
university with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and English. A minimum of 45% marks
is required (PCBE), with a relaxation to 35% for SC/ST candidates.
Age Requirement
Candidates must have reached the age of 17 years at the time of
admission or will reach the age of 17 on or before December 31 of the year of admission.
Medical Fitness
A medical fitness certificate from an authorized medical officer is
required, confirming the candidate's physical fitness for the course.
Eligibility Certificate
Candidates who have passed any qualifying examination other
than the one conducted by the Government of Tamil Nadu must obtain an Eligibility Certificate from the University.
